Wound Wash is best used after bleeding has stopped, but before the application of healing agents, such as Wound Salve. It can also be used on-going as the wound remains open and susceptible to contamination and any time skin needs gently cleansed. Not recommended for sensitive mucous membranes (eyes, ears, nose, etc…). If the product comes into contact with those areas, rinse thoroughly for 5 minutes.
Wound Wash comes in 2 forms:
1. CONCENTRATE – Before use, pour entire contents of the 4 oz concentrate into a 16 ounce bottle & fill to the top with purified water to dilute. Use the diluted mixture to irrigate the wound to remove debris.
2. In the Topical Aid Kit, Wash is already premixed (ready-to-use). Simply attach the included “squeeze tip” and squirt the pre-diluted solution liberally into wound to remove debris.
