Dawn retired from the airline industry after a 28-year career to enter the financial services industry in 2007. She relocated to Kansas City, Missouri, from Dallas, Texas, to start Cramer Capital Management with her husband, Bruce, and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®. Her specialty is in working with women who are transitioning from divorce, going into a new career, losing a spouse, and many other circumstances. Dawn uses her leadership skills to empower women through transition and set them up for financial success in the future.
Dawn is actively involved in educating numerous women’s groups and bringing awareness to the importance of becoming financially independent. Her passion is in helping women learn networking techniques by using referral groups and other resources that are specifically available to women. She founded the Women’s Mastermind Program in early 2012 for women to reach their goals within the many fields of the small business industry.
Dawn completed the highest-level PhD program through Klemmer University, a program that is known for training Fortune 500 circles. She is a gifted and active public speaker in advocating youth to be aware of the importance of making sound life choices, as well as encouraging them to say no to violence. In addition, Dawn is a past board member and active volunteer for the Heartland Foundation, whose mission is to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease. She is also founder of the “Let’s Get Jazzed” event, raising more than $550,000 during the past six years. Next, Dawn worked with Newhouse, a shelter for battered women, through her “Let’s Get Jazzed” event, raising more than $300,000 in three years.
Dawn is highly active in her children’s lives and is their greatest advocate. She enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking, scuba diving, yoga, fitness, nutrition, and natural healing. She is a certified BEST practitioner, which is a form of holistic healing used to re-establish the full healing potential of the body by using the mind. Beyond that, Dawn has also shown horses competitively at a national level and is passionate about animals. Currently, she holds her pilot instrument licenses and has been flying for more than a decade.
