In order to ensure the safety and well-being of both riders and equine guests, we enforce the following rules. Riders must sign a waiver (which includes these rules) before entering the course.
- All riders under 18 MUST wear a helmet when riding. NO EXCEPTIONS. Adult riders who have signed the liability waiver and provide proof of insurance may ride riding without a helmet (but we don’t recommend it).
- Riders must wear closed toed shoes (preferably boots) at all times while on the ranch.
- No unattended children under 16 are allowed on the ranch.
- We allow all equines here: horses, mules, ponies, miniature horses, burros and even the occasional human jackass. No elitism, snobbery or speciesism allowed!
- Only one horse on an obstacle at a time.
- If someone else is waiting to use an obstacle you are using, please limit your schooling time to five minutes.
- Anyone seen abusing an animal or using abusive equipment on an animal will be asked to leave the premises.
- If a gate is shut, close it behind you! Entrance gate is to be kept closed for the safety of (accidentally) loose horses.
- Dogs must be on a leash or tied to your trailer at all times and must have shade.
- No tying to fences or fence panels.
- Park in designated areas only.
- Clean up after your horses – if you use the arena or Trail Course please clean up any manure and spread it in the pasture away from the Trail Course.
